I think we as people do good for two reasons. Reason 1 is that most people are controlled by society and by this I mean they are scared of the punishment they will get and the label society will recognize them by ( murder, robber,etc...). The second reason is that you are most likely going to turn out like your parents so they way you are raised affects how you treat other people.
